Cleerline SSF field-installable LC & SC type connectors eliminate the need for hand polishing, epoxy, or crimping in the field. These mechanical splice connectors ensure precise fiber alignment, resulting in low loss terminations for both multimode and single mode applications. Compatible with 900µm, 2.0mm, and 3.0mm fiber optic cabling, the exclusive hinge-based design features large verification windows enabling easy confirmation of successful termination. Suitable for all SSF fibers and standard fiber optic cabling. Features include termination in as little as one minute, compatibility with 250µm, 900µm, 2.0mm, and 3.0mm cables, no crimping or proprietary tools required, large confirmation windows for easy verification, easy fiber insertion via a V-groove channel, industry-leading hinge clamp strain relief, and simplified ordering and inventory management. Specifications include single mode insertion loss typically less than 0.3dB with a maximum of 0.6dB, and UPC return loss greater than 55dB.
